On January 1st 2010 the first annual D. Rich Polar Plunge was initiated when I jumped into the icy waters of Revere Beach. It is my hope that this will become an annual ritual amongst our family & friends. We do this to have fun & remember Dennis.

You are an amazing brother. I am sure Dennis is looking down on you and being very proud of how much you have done to keep his legacy/memory alive. I wish you and all of your family much happiness and peace in the new year and the years to follow.
I wasn't lucky enough to know Dennis while he was alive (though in some strange way I feel like I do), I am lucky enough to have got to know you and your beautiful and wonderful family. Your family is truly an inspiration to many of us.

As you already know - IM IN...let me know how we will utilize this to raise money for what I am sure will be a good cause. Also - is there going to be a "No Wet Suit" Rule? I ask because I can already see Carmine trying to weasel out of getting into a speedo! Great idea - looking forward to it.
